Lehigh Valley Medicare For All supports making Medicare available to all eligible US residents. Medicare would become the “single payer” health insurance, eliminating billions of dollars in administrative cost and waste that results from private insurance intrusion into medical care. Medicare for all improves our current Medicare and expands it to all ages. It covers all medically necessary services and drugs with no co-pays or deductibles. Healthcare providers remain privately owned, and patients have complete freedom of choice of all providers that accept Medicare. Under Medicare for all, health insurance is no longer tied to a job.
